Q. When can I make a claim?

A. If you’ve had an accident in the last three years that wasn’t your fault and you’ve had treatment at Hospital or with your GP.

 

Q. If I win my case do I lose any of my compensation?

A. No, you are guaranteed to receive 100% of the compensation awarded.

 

Q. Do I pay any legal costs?

A. No, we guarantee you will not pay anything win or lose.

 

Q. How do you get paid?

A. If we win the case - we get our costs from the other side’s insurers. If we lose the case - we bear the full cost.

 

Q. Is there a time limit for making a claim?

A. You can make a claim within 3 years of the accident or diagnosis date. If you are under 18 you can make a claim up to the age of 21.

 

Q. Do I have to be over 18 to make a claim?

A. No, but a parent or guardian must act as your representative if you are under 18.

 

Q. Do I need to report my injuries to my GP or to a Hospital?

A. Yes, a claim is generally not valid unless you have reported your accident to your GP or Hospital.

Q. Can I be compensated for losses other than injuries?

A. Yes, any costs incurred as a result of the accident including loss of income.

 

Q. What sort of injuries do I need to have sustained to make a valid claim?

A. If you have suffered for 4 weeks or more you can generally make a claim.

 

Q. Do I need to get photographs of the accident location?

A. Generally we take all necessary photographs at our own expense but any photographs you have taken may be of help.

 

Q. Do I have to visit the Solicitor?

A. No, we can visit you at home.

 

Q. Can you still process my claim if I have legal expense insurance?

A. Yes, we can either run the case separately or use your legal expense insurance.

 

Q. Are there any accident types you don’t accept?

A. We do not accept the following:

  • Criminal Injury Cases (CICA)
  • Medical Negligence claims.

 

Q. How much compensation can I expect?

A. It depends on the severity of your injuries and how long you suffer.
